What is this about L’Oreal and this ”Word Cloud”? Day 20 of the Trial between Ex Husband Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation case, we had been introduced to Katheryn Arnold whom was listed as an Expert Entertainment Industry Witness from Heard’s legal team.
Depp’s team asked, “ Did you see L'Oréal had made a word cloud of words that were most commonly associated with Miss Heard in its marketing campaign?”
She had replied that she knew they did but did not witness to actually seeing it herself. So when asked what the words were, she responded with no.
You can do all the research in the world you most likely won't find it on the internet unless an insider drops and spreads the leak. It seems that it has been kept inside the L'Oréal team and company. Purposely not to be made public, and that makes total sense since Amber is a hot topic lately, but in a mist of a shit storm , literally.
Many people have been tuning into the trial and learning new things by the minute. Many are asking if Amber is still a spokesperson for the beauty brand. Their website still currently lists Amber Heard as a brand ambassador and part of its” Dream Team”. Wonder when that will be updated and slightly adjusted word-wise. They continue to say she represents the “modern superheroine” and that she is “witty and smart”, while defying stereotypes and that she continues to be committed to making her voice HEARD. This is linking her to her known LGBTQ relations and support of such organizations and being an advocate for equality in Hollywood.
Amber is still listed and featured on a list on the L'Oréal Paris UK website as well. However, there are many upset L'Oréal users and Depp Fans that would like to see her ambassadorship terminated. It seems that almost 140,000 people have signed an online petition to remove her as a spokesperson. This petition had started in 2019 before the Virginia court case, this year in 2022.
The company had thanked people and outsiders for expressing and sharing their opinions with the company as they continue to take the proper time to think and give them new perspectives to view. Whatever crap that they want to spill, many are not buying it as we know today's reality most companies rather save their ass and money before anything else, to protect their image.
We had heard in the court trial that they had a certain amount of campaign hours for Amber and it was put on pause and halt due to the “bad press” and her involvement in this defamation case.
Lets just say, it's possible they want this to go away or cool down before returning her to ads and promotional shoots. Since they had not terminated her contract. Will that damage things for them, their image? Only time can tell.
Now, there had been rumors that during L’Oreal’s Fashion Week in Paris, when Amber took the runway, she had been bombarded with boo’s. This happens to be fact. While she was featured on the rolled out L'Oréal carpet along with other well known names and faces such as Camila Cabello. Dame Mirren and Katherine Langford, it was also in celebration of the 50th anniversary of L'Oréal's famous tagline “Because, you're worth it.” This was all overshadowed by Heard’s appearance as it had upset many in attendance.
For such a beautiful well put together show it was described as magnificent as it was even held at a historic location: opposite of the great Eiffel tower, Parvis des Droits de l’homme square where in 1948 The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was first adopted.
Amber’s moment here was very true to what many are now seeing and saying during this case. As many watched her look beautiful in a baby light pink jumpsuit decorated with feathered sleeves and a plunging neckline, views watching with open eyes and open minds, recalling that saying that looks can be deceiving, as no matter how gorgeous she is on the outside, the world has now been learning about her inner self and the ugly soul this woman has.
The disapproval of her company at this event was heard as she exited the runway and at the end of the event, where it could be heard, “Abuser!” and “We don’t believe you!”
Some people are totally disgusted that she hasn’t been fully removed from ties with the company and are doing their best to have her whole career put in the dumpster, hoping Hollywood will take a stand and black list her completely.
Another petition has surfaced with a smaller amount of signatures in same relation to the other mentioned above,
